All donations are tax deductible and you will receive a thank-you letter designating
the gift as tax deductible.
Monetary - The Boys Home of the South depends upon donations to continue supporting the
children of our community. We must raise about one-third of our operating budget
to offer our services to these neglected children. Donations are taken for general
care of the children, or operating expenses, or can be designated for a specific
fund, program or activity. Donations to our restricted funds, or "Endowment" are
invested and used in our long-term approach to care for the boys.

Need for Sumer 2008 -
The boys need shorts, bathing suits, beach towels, sun screen and flip flops. Additionally,
we are in need of twin comforters (preferably two that match) for our boys' bedrooms.
Many times when a boy leaves we let them take their comforter. So, we are in
constant need. We also need pillows and white bath towels. If you can help us,
please call Lori or Taressa at 243-3443. Thank you for considering our request
for help.
In-Kind - The Boys Home of the South is delighted to receive many items that can be used
or sold and money put in the operating account. Good clothing items the boys can
use are put in our clothing closet and are given out as needed. Other items we
can use on the campus are: furniture items, recreational items, books and school
items.
Stock - Stock donations are accepted and placed in our investment account, unless
donated to be sold for a particular purpose. All stocks are reviewed yearly by
our Financial Committee made up of board members who work in financial fields.

a gift of stock.
Planned Giving - Wills, estates, and bequests are extremely valuable in helping us care for
the boys of our community. Please call for a personal visit and/or information
on how you can benefit the Boys Home of the South with your planned giving.
