Adopt-a-Project: We need your help with special projects at the Boys Home of the South. If you personally can volunteer, get your Sunday School Class or a group from work to help us on a specific project, it is so greatly appreciated! Some of our projects are painting the office hallway, small building projects, Boy Scouts, taking a group of boys on an outing, sponsoring a picnic or pizza party, and many more one-time needs. This summer's Adopt-a-Project is helping our boys build skateboard ramps. Our boys love to ride their bikes and skateboards. We are wanting to provide them with recreational fun and teach them at the same time by allowing them to make their own ramps. The boys are wanting to build 2 Grind boxes and a Mini Halfpipe ramp. Birthday List: Every child deserves to feel special and appreciated, especially on their birthday. Right now we have a very special need for people to join us in seeing that we can make this happen for the children here at the Boys Home of the South. At this time we have several very faithful volunteers who bring birthday cakes and send cards for the boys on their birthdays and for this we are so thankful. However, we have no funding available at this time to be able to give them even a small gift to honor them on their special day.
Please prayerfully consider helping us provide each boy with a gift to open on his birthday. If you are interested in this exciting new program, you can send a donation and designate it specifically for the "Birthday Fund."
